Family & Youth Initiative (DCFYI) has initiated a Request for Proposals (RFP) process to identify a qualified consultant to develop and implement ongoing social media to expand DCFYI’s reach and recruit more weekend host and permanent adoptive families for teens in foster care.
We are so grateful to the donors and volunteers who supported Family & Youth Initiative and the DCFYI youth through the challenges of 2020.

To say that the social, emotional, and economic impacts of a global pandemic were much greater for young adults who have aged out of foster care would be a huge understatement. The data show just how hard 2020 was for these young adults.
