DCFYI

Liz and Rich enjoy the small, personal feel of DCFYI. We both work in national and international policy and we were looking for an uplifting and local volunteer opportunity. DCFYI provides a way for us to assist our local community where there is an underserved and under-appreciated need for engagement. The teens who volunteer to seek mentorship through DCFYI continue to impress us. We love providing direct support to those who need it and getting to see the impact of our and DCFYI’s efforts. We have also enjoyed getting to know the DCFYI staff and team of volunteers. We look forward to completing our training as host parents!
